Post, Spectate, Walk Away

As I came outside I noticed alot of people pinpointing there focus toward a certain direction. I decided to take a closer look.

Coming upon the volleyball court I noticed players getting pumped and ready for an apparent game. It was about to go down !!

So focused and ready to go, la professoria rubia gets ready to serve it up. And show those boys what they got !

Spectating such an amazing serve, mesmerized by such power and accuracy I grabbed my camera to capture the return hit, that would determine the domination or success of the boys.

Ah, ah, ah ! Silly boys, celebrating is for winners! :) Don't be fooled, the boys were on the receiving end of a terrible beating during that match. They show though, taking the lose very lightly, it was all in good fun.

Leading Lines

ImageIn this picture I used the compositional technique known as “leading lines”. Leading lines are used by artist and photographers alike to capture the attention of a gazer; and use the “natural lines” in the photo to lead their eye to the primary focus the artist/photographer is trying to convey. My main focus in the photo above is of myself sitting on the bleacher, using the lining of the bleacher as my “natural line” almost like a prop. Its pretty cool to see how much this impacted my photo! To see how such a simple, unsophisticated main point can be portrayed in such a way just using lines, that seem so unintentional.
